We have one mission planned for Winter 2011.
.
__________________________________________________________________
Name: Winter Warm Up 2011 Christmas Caroling Flash Mob
Date: Friday, December 23, 2011
Location: To Be Determined (Stay tuned for an update)
Facebook Event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/101613706624830/
Description:
1. Everyone will gather at the corner of NE 11 Ave. & NE Multnomah St. (across the street from Lloyd Center Mall) for an initial briefing at 12 NOON sharp.
2. We will quietly enter Lloyd Center in small groups.
3. Some will assemble on the east end of the ice rink (on the ground floor), and some will assemble on the bridge (over the ice rink).
4. 10 lead singers will begin to sing the first of 2 pre-determined Christmas carols. This will be the signal for everyone to start singing.
The 1st song will be “Let it Snow” and the 2nd song will be “Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer.”
5. The entire building will be filled with the wondrous echo of hundreds of singing voices.
6. After the 2 songs have been completed everyone will quietly disperse, leaving no explanation to the hundreds of surprised holiday shoppers. Remember please NO APPLAUSE (it ruins the effect).
6. The entire event is about 5 minutes!

My first event and what a fine time it was. The inclement weather didn’t seem to stop too many people! Once we froze there were a bunch of funny stares and people coming right up to me and wondering what was going one. The greatest part about it was how silent it got in the square, what an eerie feeling…
Sadly I found out about the freeze a couple days after it had happened and at the same time I signed up with Urban Pranksters. Anyways, I’m out in Gresham and wondering if anyone was intersted in doing a Best Buy mission.
you guys should absolutely do the best buy mission! it looks hilarious!!!!
are you guys gonna do the mp3 experiment?
I would like to be part of the dance mob or freeze mob. Let me know. I’m a fast learner. I have friends that are interested as well. Here is my email. RobinsonUmwech@gmail.com or call me at 8176595269
I have been looking for a Portland improveverywhere group for years; so glad to have found you! Definitely count me in!

I want to be a part of a flash mob so bad it hurts. I love the joy and smiling faces that come out of one of these events. When I watch the videos it brings tears to my eyes, to see people in all states of emotion brought to excitement and happiness by witnessing a flash mob. Please Please let me know if there is an event coming up.

I think it would be fun to teach a big group of people to do the whole dance in thriller and have them come out of nowhere in zombie makup and do the dance, then disappear
Thanks a million for this, I appreciate the info
